OvertimeLog is a small, independent project for consultants, contractors and on-call workers who need a clear record of time worked outside their normal schedule.

What changed

An earlier version depended on access to a workplace communication platform. That direction was retired before a public launch because the distribution and workplace-data risks were not acceptable for a small product.

What comes next

The replacement is deliberately simpler: the user starts a timer or adds a session, reviews a calendar, and creates a billing export. The record is explicit, user-attested and stored locally. The public site now includes separate browser tools for an on-call timesheet, weekend-rate arithmetic and a draft after-hours work summary while the desktop release is validated.

Principles

For now: the free browser calculator is available; desktop downloads and checkout remain paused while the manual-first product is validated.
